The themes for the preliminary round of The 29th National High School Manga Championships (Manga Koshien) were scheduled to be announced on the 10th of April (Friday), as per always.
However, due to public schools within Kochi and in other parts of Japan being closed until End April to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the announcement of the themes.
We will look into revising the schedule for Manga Koshien as a whole, and will announce both the preliminary themes and plans for the finals once they have been finalised.
